Castle interiors

While traveling in Scotland, my wife and I stayed in four separate castles varying from the small family castle all the way to expansive courtyards and wonderful luxury. On the trip, the only lens I had capable of shooting in these dimly lit establishments was my 50mm prime (1.8f), and seeing as how I have a cropped sensor on my EOS, this lens is less than ideal for small corridors (apparently people were a lot smaller in the fourteenth century?).
Regardless I was able to get a decent amount of detail shots, and kind of enjoyed the challenge of having such a small field of vision.
